Security & Policing 2027 — Farnborough Delegation Transport

Security & Policing 2027 runs 16–18 March 2027 at Farnborough International. It is the Home Office’s official security event, hosted by the Joint Security and Resilience Centre and delivered by Total Events with ADS Group. It is a closed event — there is no general admittance, every attendee is vetted and registered in advance, and that changes how you move people to and from the halls.

About Security & Policing 2027

Security & Policing has run for more than 44 years and remains the only closed event of its kind in the UK, which is precisely why the visitor list skews so heavily towards senior officers, ministerial parties and overseas delegations. The Department for Business and Trade supports the international programme, so a large share of the people arriving at Gate B on a Tuesday morning have flown in the night before. Farnborough International does not publish a headline attendance figure for this event, so we plan capacity from confirmed delegation sizes rather than from an estimate.

• Vetting runs on a clock. Passes are issued in advance and bag search, fast-track and randomised screening sit between the kerb and the hall. Arriving as a group, at a set time, keeps a delegation together through that process.

Getting to Farnborough International for Security & Policing

• Pedestrian and taxi access is Gate B, Trenchard Way. There is a coach layby there, and it is where cars drop and collect. Set that as your meeting point, not the postcode.
• Vehicle access is Gate F, Aerospace Boulevard, GU14 6TQ. Satnavs routinely send drivers to the wrong side of the airfield — our drivers use the gate, not the site postcode.
• Farnborough Main is 1.5 miles away with a direct South Western Railway service to London Waterloo in as little as 34 minutes, and a free event shuttle operates from the station.
• Heathrow is roughly 30 minutes away and Gatwick roughly 50, which is why most inbound delegations land the day before and stay locally.
