Provider: These terms govern all bookings made with Farnborough Taxi Cabs, the executive Mercedes-only brand of Dinez Taxis and Airport Transfers, licensed by Rushmoor Borough Council. By confirming a booking, you accept these terms in full.
I. Local Taxi Bookings — GU14 and Surrounding Postcodes
This section covers all local journeys within Farnborough GU14, Aldershot GU11/GU12, Camberley GU15, Fleet GU51/GU52, Frimley GU16, Ash Vale, Cove and Mytchett.
Scheduling: Confirmed pickup times are honoured subject to the dispatch schedule. Repeated extensions to a confirmed time may result in cancellation with a 50% refund if the driver has already departed base.
Waiting time: A five-minute grace period is provided at the pickup address. Beyond this, waiting is charged at £9.00 per 15-minute period, billed pro-rata.
Unaccompanied minors: All transfers involving passengers under 18 travelling without a parent or guardian require prior written confirmation. Enhanced DBS-checked drivers are assigned. A verified handover to an authorised adult is required at the destination.
II. Airport, Chauffeur and Long-Distance Services
This section applies to Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Stansted, Luton and Farnborough Airport (TAG) transfers, executive chauffeur hire, cruise port transfers, and city-to-city long-distance journeys.
Flight tracking: For inbound airport pickups, we track the actual aircraft landing time and adjust the driver schedule accordingly. A 45-minute complimentary grace period applies from confirmed landing. After this, waiting is charged per 15-minute period: E-Class saloon £9.00 — V-Class, Vito, S-Class £15.00.
Parking: Terminal and airport parking is charged at actual cost only. Farnborough Airport (TAG) currently carries no parking charge.
Meet and greet: Standard for all inbound airport pickups — driver at the arrivals hall with a name board. At TAG, the driver follows the specific FBO ground procedure confirmed at booking.
III. Cancellation and Refund Policy
When a booking is confirmed, the allocated vehicle and driver are reserved exclusively for your journey. The following tiered policy applies.
- 7+ days notice: 80% refund, less £15 admin fee (local) or £25 (airport/long-distance).
- 48 hours notice: 50% refund, less admin fee.
- 24 hours notice: 20% refund, less admin fee.
- Under 12 hours: No refund — driver and vehicle are fully committed.
Travel credit: Admin fees are waived if you elect to hold your eligible refund as a travel credit. Credits are valid for 12 months.
IV. Operating Standards and Vehicle Policy
Fleet: We operate a Mercedes-only fleet. In exceptional circumstances, a vetted third-party licensed vehicle of equal or higher specification may be dispatched. Fixed pricing, DBS-checked drivers and our service standards apply in all cases.
No-show: A 90-minute grace period applies from the confirmed pickup time. If no communication is received after multiple contact attempts, the booking is marked no-show and is non-refundable.
Vehicle care: A cleaning fee of £100 applies for any soiling or internal damage. We reserve the right to refuse carriage to any passenger presenting a safety or conduct risk.
Mechanical disruption: In the event of unforeseen vehicle failure, we will source a replacement immediately. Farnborough Taxi Cabs is not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
V. Fuel Adjustment
If market fuel prices rise by more than 5% between the date of your quote and the journey start, a fuel adjustment surcharge may be applied. This will be communicated before your journey date.
VI. Dispatch and Communication
Real-time journey status updates are issued throughout: driver en route, on site, passenger on board, and cleared. Please ensure your mobile is charged and reachable at pickup time.
